Does it still apply if you had a c-section?

Might be a strange one, but I've nobody to ask who would know the answer and I'm not sure exactly how to phrase my question for Google.

I understand that most (not all!) second and subsequent births tend to go faster than the prior births. My first I went into labour, only reached 3cm and had an emergency C-section. Who knows how slow/fast I'd have laboured and I understand first babies tend to be the slowest. What I'm trying to work out is whether my second baby statistically would be a slow birth as well, considering the first was a C-section or whether the second would be quicker than the first would have been, because my body's "been in labour before and knows what I needs to do?"

I appreciate it's a pointless question, each pregnancy and birth can be totally different and there are no rules, but with my first ending in an emergency section I feel as though I'm having "first time nerves" all over again, having not really done it before.
