Hiya all I’m on my 2nd baby I’m about 6 weeks, I have my scan tomorrow. But I’m just wondering if baby’s can grow ahead as I’m massive for my weeks and I know about bloat but with my first it went down and nothing like this. Im up 2 sizes already 😂 I’ve also had no symptoms either which is making me so worried 😟

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I found I showed much more quickly and noticeably with my second. I think as your body has already carried a baby, unless you've done a fuck tonne of serious work on your core muscles you'll get this.

It's probably more to do with the fact that your abdominal muscles aren't as strong this time around. I'm pregnant with my second now and although I got in to pretty good shape after having the first I started showing much earlier on this pregnancy.

Your baby is about 6mm, even if it’s particularly large I don’t think that extra 1-2mm of baby is what’s making a difference to how you look.
The hormones though will be causing you for retain water, get a bit constipated / bloated and your ligaments will be relaxing. Because your body has been pregnant before your core will stretch so much more easily than last time I’m afraid.
I couldn’t get into my jeans from about about 6 weeks with number two - he’s 4 months now and I’m seriously working on my core - I want to get back in those jeans!

I was absolutely enormous with my second. I looked about 30 weeks at 8 weeks! It was just mega bloat and went down in second trimester

I'm currently pregnant with my 4th baby. I started showing at 6 weeks.
I hope your scan goes well and Congratulations 🎊

My bump has been bigger with my 2nd baby and I ended up measuring 6 days behind at the 12 week scan 😅 my 1st I measured 2 days ahead!
