Bump gotten lower and smaller

I’m 30 weeks pregnant and like the title said, today my bump has got a lot lower and maybe a bit smaller. It’s all sitting below my bellow button. Looks very strange. Baby has also been moving around non stop, she’s usually pretty wriggly but there hasn’t been a moment of the day today when she hasn’t moved.

has anyone else had this with their bump at a similar time? Did it lift up again? Was everything okay?

It’s common for your bump to drop as you get closer to the end and it can appear smaller as it sits more in your pelvis. However any change in babies movements should always be investigated, including an increase in movements so I would give your midwives a call.

Agree with PP on the change in movements needing to be seen, especially with a change to bump shape.
