Hello All! Really In need of some help/information here! I have 2 children the first born in 2014 and the second born in 2017, I am 29 years old, myself and my partner have/had no plan on having anymore children, therefore I had the 10yr copper coil fitted 3 years ago, I recently had a smear test (5th June) to be precise and was supposed to come on my period on the 21st June, which was a no show, I waited until 27th June and took a pregnancy test as I started to get worried, it came back positive, I was so shocked! The next day I got a clear blue test as I needed to check dates and that came back positive 2-3 weeks. Myself and my partner had sexual intercourse on the 8th of June. I sincerely believe my coil was dislodged due to my smear test especially when looking at the dates and considering I have had no problems in 3 years! I have had to get my coil removed as it was sitting in my cervix and not in my womb .. I am now having to have 48hr blood tests to see if I am having an ectopic pregnancy and this is very distressing and traumatic for myself and my partner! Would like to know if any mums out there have had the same situation done to them? Or if anyone is able to give any advice? Many Thanks, Grace
