Pain after surgical treatment of ectopic

Hi all
last week I was diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy(after a lot of problems at the hospital) & had it surgically removed on Tuesday with my left tube. My recovery (at least physical) was good and was quickly discharged home. Unfortunately on Friday night I woke up with the most excruciating pain I had in my life-I could not move, screaming on all 4 in the bathroom. I was taken back to the hospital by an ambulance. I had bloods done and an X-ray and was told by doctors that there is nothing to worry about but they also didn’t explain what exactly happened.
Anyone had a similar experience?

I must admit I am devastated as I am 39 already had an early miscarriage at 5 weeks and now this ectopic…
I am terrified that the pain will be back and I don’t think I am mentally strong enough now to go through it again…

Hi @Neverendingx
I had later an app with a private gynaecologist and he explained that based on my documents I had a pseudosac or potentially an empty sac from a twin pregnancy that I needed to pass with the tissue as well. He was shocked that I was discharged without any pain medication as obviously I was already sore and in pain post op.
Luckily I now fully recovered and fingers crossed I will soon see again a bfp ;)
