Anyone currently suffering from this? I'm 22ks pregnant and once again I have this horrible condition. It's worse this time; I can barely walk due to the feeling of an electric current running through my right thigh. Also feels numb and like it's burning inside! With my last pregnancy, it went away only when I gave birth.

If you are suffering from this, how are you managing it? What's helping? I can't get an MRI to look at the nerves due to pregnancy and doctors say there's nothing that can be done. I don't know how I'll continue with pain for the rest of my pregnancy!

I also suffer with this condition - only when I sleep and I have it on both thighs due to the compression of the nerves

I have been told the same today by the doctor that nothing can be done and to wait it out until baby is here

😣I literally wake every hour in pain to turn over to the other side … then that side plus up… back to the other side

I am getting no sleep (I am nearly 8m pregnant and this came when I was around 6m pregnant)

Hi, yes I have just developed it, it's awful! 27 weeks pregnant. Exact same symptoms as you on the right thigh as well, right up to the top of my knee. Only thing that seems to remotely help is staying sat down with a hot water bottle on it. Sorry to hear you were told nothing could be done. Guess we'll just have to wait it out (not a nice thought!)

Experiencing this when sleeping (20 weeks pregnant). The pain can be so intense when switching sides! I find having a pillow in between the thighs helps slightly. I also keep my moisturiser in the fridge and apply to my legs before bed.
