So I’m 2 days late, tested last night and got a positive. I’ve tested 3 times this morning, 2 were clearblue early digital and got negatives. I dunno what to think I’m so upset about it… can’t anyone advise please

Keep testing over the next few days, you can get boxes of the HCG strips on Amazon for about £10 and you get 20 so you’re not spending a fortune on proper tests. I know people were tests have shown negative until 1.5 weeks since missed period. Fingers crossed for you.

That’s exactly what mine looked like and I’m definitely pregnant! Congratulations ❤️

Erised21 · 01/07/2023 07:56

I think OP is feeling upset at the test being positive? I found getting a positive result a complete mind f*ck and felt really up and down for a few weeks. I've talked to a few people since and realised it is normal to feel all over the place. It's okay not to only feel pure joy.

How are you feeling OP? Is this a surprise? Do you want to be pregnant?

UltraProcessedPerson · 01/07/2023 08:08

Have you got pictures of your morning test?

CLEOXTAYLOR · 01/07/2023 10:57

Yeah I want to be pregnant, have been trying for a while.. I’m just upset that the morning ones are negative as I was over the moon about being positive

Digital ones aren't as sensitive apparently but that top one is definitely positive!

CLEOXTAYLOR · 01/07/2023 13:15

I know I can’t stop looking at it and getting sad, I really hope it’s real. I’m gonna try and wait a few days and test again if still no period. Thank you alll xxx

Honestly I had such strong positives on FR and after 4 days of clear tests, I did a cheapy and not even a hint of a line.
I bet in a day or two when your hcg rises you should see a positive with that sort of line above!

PickledScrump · 01/07/2023 18:17

Clearblue are terrible for showing line’s when negative. Get a decent pink test, either frer pr boots own early results. Although all should show at 2 days late you may have ovulated late

ElmTree22 · 01/07/2023 18:20

Always use a first response. Clear blue are renowned for false positives.

CLEOXTAYLOR · 01/07/2023 18:47

sadly this probably false positive then, still no sign of period though

Just got this, I know stupid for doing clear blue but I just can’t wrap my head around the positive clear blues and negative everything else

I don’t know if that looks faulty??? Deffo try another brand in a few days or go to doctors and explain they might do bloods x

greenisnotserene · 02/07/2023 19:53

Every time I see a post like this and I open it I say "oh I really hope it's not one of those clear blue tests with the blue cross". They have to be the test with the most false positives out there. Honestly I don't know why anyone buys these awful tests. Please just go and get a FRER (6 days earlier) and put yourself out of misery.

Sorry OP but that doesn’t look like a true positive to me. The line is dark at the edges and not all the way through so suggests a faulty test / evap. The first test does look v positive though. So sorry if it’s a false pos that’s so cruel 😢😢😢
