Hi, I'm pregnant after one healthy pregnancy followed by 2 miscarriages.
Since 5 weeks pregnant I was absolutely exhausted, like I'd never experienced, could barely even move from my bed and felt sick constantly, huge sore boobs and weeing all night.
Had a scan on Monday, 7 weeks 3 days, and it was twins, both measuring approx 7 weeks with heartbeats.
I've not got another scan til August now.
However yesterday I just stopped feeling tired, and today I don't feel tired or sick, and my boobs feel fine, a bit hard but not sore at all.
I'm really terrified something has happened to the babies, as I've had losses previously.
Has anyone had similar? Was it ok? Or was it vanishing twin? Or a complete miscarriage?
I'm seeing midwife on Friday, but it's a long wait and she can't even check anything for me. Would it be weird for me to try and get another scan soon?

Just an FYI if you aren't cramping or bleeding you're hopefully ok! I had a MMC and my symptoms didn't stop, my belly grew and everything. I know symptoms can fluctuate in pregnancy tho, you may just be having a good day or two and will feel rubbish again soon! I don't think you'd be crazy to go for another scan if that's what's going to give you peace of mind.

Congrats on the twins! X

Thank you for replying and sorry for my late reply. Been feeling so down about everything and no idea what's going on inside my body.
I don't know if I can call the EPU and ask for a second scan, if everything is fine then just wasting their precious resources. But I just have no idea if I'm still pregnant or not.
With previous miscarriage I had no symptoms for 3 weeks then a light bleed but told me the baby stopped developing 3 weeks prior. Similar with my other one, no symptoms just found on a scan no heartbeat.

Sorry for your previous losses OP and congrats on your twins! I've had two miscarriages too and then had my son and currently 7+1 with my 2nd (not had a scan yet though).

I know it's so hard to not constantly wonder if your babies are okay in there and you get stuck reading into your symptoms because it's all you have to go on. I think most EPUs don't scan you unless you have things like cramping / bleeding / passing clots etc. Are you in a position to book a private scan if you feel this will reassure you?
