I’m sure I just felt movements at 10 weeks

I know, I know, it’s far too early but I’m sure I just felt a flutter.

This is my second baby so I know what it feels like. Definitely not wind or my uterus stretching.

I had an anterior placenta with my first so didn’t feel movements till 21 weeks.

Anyone else felt movements this early on?

It cld be! I'm sure I cld feel it at about 11wks second time. Cld actually see my tummy moving at around 13/14wks. I felt movement really early with my first too about 16wks and full on kicks by 18 wks.

@Hazelnuttella have just been wondering the same thing have felt that distinct fluttering feeling since 11 wks which was a week ago. Also second baby.

With my second baby there was one particular day when I could feel his movements at 9 weeks, and DH and DS1 could even feel it from the outside! It was wild. He must have just been in a particular position near the side, because after that he moved and it was a while before I could feel him again.

I’ll be very excited if I feel some more.

Was trying not to get my hopes up too much before my 12 week scan because I’m a natural pessimist and can’t quite let myself believe there’s a baby in there until I see it on the screen, but this has cheered me up a bit.

Same happened to me with my ds3 at 9 weeks. Have felt ds3, ds4 and ds5 all before 12 weeks, wonder if it's because I've had c-sections.

I was sure I felt movements very early with DC2. 100% certain.

But I feel the same movements now and I'm not pregnant. So I think it's probably just gassy movements inside.

Gooseysgirl · 30/06/2023 18:56

Same happened to me with DC2, I couldn't believe it but the little flutters were unmistakeable 🥰

lucya66 · 30/06/2023 19:13

lying on my side last night after getting to bed, I felt my first two distinct flutters! Definitely baby. Never felt anything like it before and it was where they scan!

14 weeks

It’s just wind im afraid. Before 12 weeks your uterus is still inside your pelvis and not palpable from the outside so it’s very unlikely to feel movement from the inside and definitely not possible to feel it from the outside

sarahc336 · 30/06/2023 19:17

It will have been op. I was 11 weeks when I first felt dd2, I then didn't feel her again for about 2 weeks but it was defo her. You feel your second quicker for some reason.

FernsAndFlowers · 30/06/2023 19:19

I felt DD2 immediately after a scan at 10w - sonographer was able to confirm the baby was exactly where I’d felt the moving.

unsurprisingly, she turned out to be a feisty, enormous baby (and conceived in the most unlikely of circumstances)
