40+5 is this normal after “bloody show”

I woke up this morning to a bloody show, some mucus plug came away yesterday as well but since having it every time I go to the toilet there’s blood, is it normal to keep bleeding after having the show? It’s not heavy it’s just when I wipe & there’s a bit on my pad. I’m O negative & on blood thinners so wondered if the blood isn’t related to the show & need anti D. Thanks.

I had what you describe but only after a sweep which the midwife warned me might happen. I would give triage a ring and just get their advice on it. All the best, hopefully baby is coming soon for you x

She couldn’t give me one today because her head wasn’t engaged but she’s hopeful things are happening anyway

My midwife said to call if it was blood (like normal dripping blood or spots) but not if it was bloody mucus

its mostly bloody mucus but still coming out just never expected it to continue every time I went to the toilet & wiped
