Hey guys,
So to give a bit of background, I got my first bfp 5 days ago (12dpo), after having 2 previous mc/chemicals.

I'm now 16dpo and the lines are getting darker, but I'm just really anxious that this is also going to end in a miscarriage. I haven't told my husband yet because I want to know either way how it will go, rather than miscarrying a few days after I tell him and it becoming a whole thing.
I know I need to tell him soon, but I guess I'm just really nervous and also worried about jinxing it.
I've attached a photo of my tests over the last few days 12,13,14,15 &16dpo all with smu. Do you think that looks like a good progression? I'm worried that 15 and 16 look the same.

Also, my boobs have stopped hurting today and I'm getting way more cm than a few days ago - are these signs of impending mc?
Just wanting to hear honest or positive stories so I can prepare myself either way and hopefully tell hubby tomorrow/Sunday.

Em x

No advise but also woken up with less sore boobs.. 4+1 today and thinking the worst.
Your frers look great!

No. They really aren't.

I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry.

I've had one MC and two pregnancies and tbh the symptoms come and go so frequently especially in the first trimester. After 7-8 weeks you'll probably be so unwell and wishing you felt fine.

Good luck 🥰

I think the last test looks darker than the one before. I posted something very similar in a thread worrying about exactly the same thing. Honestly the best thing for me was to stop testing. I took a clear blue digital at 5 weeks and once i got 3+ I was able to relax a bit more. I know it's not easy but your tests are looking good 😁

It’s normal for symptoms to come and go. Also hcg takes around 48hours to rise so you don’t tend to see progression every day. Your tests look really good, I’d really recommend that you stop testing now as it tends to cause more stress than reassuring. Unfortunately many miscarriages don’t have any signs, people continue to have symptoms. There’s really no way to know.

Hi. The only indicator at this stage is to have blood tests done and see how they progress. If they double every 48/72h, you're probably fine. Symptoms are not an indicator. Many women have slight or no symptoms in healthy pregnancies or bad ones when miscarrying.
Fingers crossed. 🤗🤗

It looks like good progression. I would tell your husband today and also share your feelings with him; you are both in this together and can offer support to each other.

I told my DP at 9 weeks, after HB scan and I knew since 4w. For me it was way better this way. I was able to cope better with the anxiety. But of course, you have to see what works best for you.

Yeah it's so hard not to obsess over them! I think I'll take another digital tomorrow morning and tell hubby in the evening because I want to plan something special ❤

Thank you everyone for all your advice/reassurance ❤ I think I'll try and tell him tomorrow and step away from the Frer's haha
Symptoms tend to be a little worse at night and the on and off cramping has me a little worried but I guess worrying about it isn't going to change the outcome so I'll just wait and see 🤞

There is no telling, I’ve had a missed miscarriage (my body didn’t let me know for weeks that it had stopped growing) and a successful one. Both times my symptoms completely dissappeared around 8-9 weeks for about a week. With the mmc I assumed it was all fine until the 9 week scan, with my successful pregnancy I went to a 9 week scan pessimistic and saw a hb. I wouldn’t put any faith in symptoms now.
