7 weeks pregnant but just a black circle on ultrasound:(

Hi thanks for reading, ok so today i went for an early scan to see how things are going i worked out from my last period i am 7 weeks pregnant but after two attempts of a transabdominal scan i had to have a transvaginal scan where they found a black circle that could be something? they think i got my dates wrong or something or im too early but surely they would have been able to see something by now and found a cyst on my left ovary i'm completely freaking out as i expected to either see a heartbeat or no heartbeat at this stage but to see nothing has just scared the life out of me (first pregnancy) due to get booked in for some blood tests to test my hsg levels but im at the point where im just going crazy has anyone else had this experience?? i appreciate any responses at this point i feel so alone!!

Hey @Koda2348 don't panic just yet. I assume as well as not seeing a heartbeat it sounds like they didn't see a fetal pole or anything like that? Did you track ovulation so you know when you ovulated? How long are you cycles usually and how long ago did you first get your positive pregnancy tests?

It's perfectly possible that it's just too early to see baby xx

I did and unfortunately it was a pregnancy that did not progress and I passed out the tissue naturally in a few weeks.

They couldn't say if the circle was the sack? Maybe indeed it was to early. The blood tests should help.

if so you might just we'll have ovulated later and be a tad to early for anything else xx
