Ache left calve

I’m currently 13 weeks. Had bad sickness and nausea and have been off work since around 8 weeks. Some days I couldn’t get out of bed , was dehydrated and had low blood pressure. I don’t spend a lot of time standing due to dizziness.

The past 2 weeks I’ve noticed the inner side of my left calve feels strange. Not painful, not like a cramp or muscle pain. It’s hard to describe, it’s almost like a mild throbbing, squeezing achey feeling. I usually notice it when I’m sat down or lying down. It doesn’t hurt when I walk or move my foot. No redness. But today I was convinced one calve looked bigger so I measured and the sore one is half an inch bigger.

Obviously worried about DVT, but I have quite bad health anxiety so I don’t know if I’m just focusing on this too much.

You need to get checked. Today.

Definitely go and get it checked out at the hospital - if it is DVT it can be incredibly dangerous. My mum had DVT in her 40s and when the hospital thought it was that they stopped her moving around ASAP in case a bit broke off and travelled to her lungs. Always better to be safe than sorry xx

Had urgent appointment with GP she wasn’t concerned about it at all. Said it didn’t look or feel like a blood clot.
