Morning all,

Can anyone recommend the best baby wrap/sling please?

I'm due in 3 weeks and also have a very active toddler. So looking for a sturdy baby wrap that's easy to wear around the house and if I need to pop out.

There is just so many different ones to choose from, I'm stuck!

Thanks x

For a sling then you can't beat the freerider, it has just the right amount of stretch to stay secure and not bulky.

I'm due in 3 weeks too ☺️

I would get to a local sling library if at all possible, to find what works best for you and pick up some tips.

I loved Close Caboo with both. I don't like complicated wrapping, I'm not dextrous at all so I wanted something that couldn't go wrong basically. Then we moved to a Tula Explore once DD2 was 4-5 months.

Baby Mag have a good article on the best wraps and slings, I hope this helps you choose 😊 www.baby-magazine.co.uk/best-baby-carriers/

I love my Ergo embrace, used it with two kids now.

The Koala one is good - it's less of a faff to put on than a normal sling, as it's already kind of pre-tied.

Bit pricey but I found it loads easier to use.

I also recommend visiting a sling library if possible.
I got an Ergobaby Omni 360 before my DD was born and when she arrived I realised that it was much too tall for my very short torso, luckily my husband loved it and used it all the time, or it would have been a big waste of money.
I also had a freerider sling, which I loved! And when DD got bigger and felt less secure in the sling, I went to a library and hired a Mamaruga Zensling then I bought one for myself and I still love it. Can’t wait to use it again with DS due in November.

Baby Bjorn mini. Used it from 3 weeks post C-section and found it very easy and quick to get baby into. A few clicks and done

It comes in two parts so often wore the straps under a cardigan etc and then slotted baby in as needed

I found the tie wrap slings really fidly.
