As the tittle says really. I'll be 6 weeks on Saturday, 4th baby but it's a good number of years since my last one so think things are different now.

Just feeling like I should wait a bit as it's so early and I'm feeling quite anxious about a loss

I did my online referral at 5 weeks, didn't hear anything until nearly 8 weeks and booking appointment was at 10 weeks.

Depends where you are but seems quite consistent that it takes a while to hear back from self referral so best to get it in I think.

Congrats 😊

Thank you, my trust has a self referral form on their website I'll fill it in now and see what happens 😊

Contact your gp surgery and ask how referrals are done. There seems to be a large variety from area to area, some you fill out an online form, some the doctor refer you abd you wait for a letter or call, mine just booked my first appointment in directly with the midwife over the phone.

I did the online referral at about 6/7 weeks and saw them at around week 11.

I contacted mine as soon as I was pregnant. Even more important if you were to have an early loss because they can get in for checks/ scans ect

I did the online referral at 5 weeks, just thought good to get in the system. Auto reply said I wouldn’t hear from them until 8 weeks

I called my GP to let them know as soon as I found out, so I would have been just about 5 weeks in! They told me what I needed to do: in my trust, you self refer online and I was given the website. I received a date by email the very next day, so very efficient in that sense. Good luck

I did mines quite late.

I let them know at 8 weeks after I went for a private heartbeat scan (previous miscarriage).

I then had my first appointment at 10/11 weeks then my scan at 13 x
