Spinal epidural for c-section, has anyone found it benefitted other pain too?

Magically nerve pain i have had for 5 years completely disappeard after c section for a month before coming back -friend suggested it could be from anaesthesia - is this crazy talk?

Yesterday I had an epidural and an imaging camera inserted to examine my lower back because of scoliosis, and disc issues. They also inserted steroids which they said would kick in in a couple of weeks. Today I have no back pain. So you maybe onto something.
