Hi, I'm 19 with a 3 year old and an almost one year old I'm struggling with on going health issues, money problems etc I have no family where I live I'm in Scotland and they are all in England except from my partner. I also only have a two bed house I'm pregnant again and I've decided I should get an abortion, I suffer with bad anxiety and don't want to go through the fear of pregnancy and childbirth again but I got emails in regards to the abortion pills and I've read scary things so now I don't know if I want too, what should I do. My anxiety is so bad I hyperventilate, go faint etc and I know I'll panic.

You poor thing I am so sorry that you are in this situation and feeling so anxious.

Do you have any rl friends you could reach out to?

Or a health visitor?

How about talking to your gp (if possible?

I hope this doesn’t sound patronising but you are very young (same age as one of my daughters) and so you’ve no need to feel ashamed about asking for help. If I lived in Scotland I would be round to you like a shot.

Sorry that is not very helpful as I don’t know anything about abortion pills but just wanted you to know that you are not alone.

The risks of abortion pills are lower than many common drugs (e.g. penicillin, viagra). Pregnancy in itself is riskier than abortion.
It certainly sounds like you have enough on your plate already. Is your partner being supportive?

Sweetheart, the pills aren't difficult to take and I found that I coped ok. I needed a hot water bottle and to curl up at home for a day or so. Not easy with two little ones I realise but nothing to fear. I hope your dp is going to help you get through it. Honestly, you'll be fine xx

What is it that you are worried will happen?
The pills are extremely safe and if anything did go wrong, the hospital will sort you out. The risk of child birth is far far higher than those pills.
