Hi everyone, I got a positive test yesterday at 11dpo and am just terrified it's not going to stick. Anyone in the same boat? Anxiety is high!
Retested this morning and these are my tests..

Hi there! Yes, I'm either 11 or 12dpo today and got a positive this morning. However, I told my DH I wasn't excited I was very anxious. This is my 3rd pregnancy in 9 months with two miscarriages at about 6 weeks so I'm just a ball of nerves tbh. I think I'll test once a week, and I'm going to ring EPU to get booked in for an early scan.
Is this your first pregnancy @PR96
Also, congratulations!

I am feeling really nervous and anxious too since I had my positive. I am 14DPO. I have had symptoms but just feels so early. I am hoping this feeling is normal and trying hard to relax. I'm sorry I have no advice to help other than that, but you aren't alone in how you feel

Khanga27 · 28/06/2023 10:46

Also, congratulations

Congratulations @BudgetBuster! I'm sorry to hear about your losses 😞
This is my second child, my first will be 3 in January and I was an anxious mess then too!
I'm going to try and hold of testing again till the weekend and I've not told gp or anything yet, need to register at my new one as we've recently moved house.

@Khanga27 I remember feeling this way with my first but it's still awful! Like you say.. it just feels too early!
Congratulations to you too !

Try to remember that the chances of a healthy baby far outweigh anything else! You were anxious on your last pregnancy but your almost 3 year old is probably running around happily playing right now.

Your line is perfect for how far gone you are.

That's true @BudgetBuster .
I have some cramping atm and really hoping it's not af coming

Cramping is also perfectly normal in early pregnancy while your body starts readjusting! I totally understand the anxiety though... I'm hear telling you how normal things are but also terrified to go to the toilet myself in case I bleed!

PR96 · 28/06/2023 14:36

Haha @BudgetBuster that's how it is though isn't it! We reassure everyone else but worry about ourselves!
