Short fasting periods during pregnancy?

Week 7 here and hardly ever want to eat, especially in the morning, but forcing myself to eat every few hours(not puking unless I eat spicy food/get on a bus!).
I used to skip breakfast (IF) but as soon as I got my positive test and gave up coffee, I was starving in the mornings until week 6. It seems that over 12 hours fasting is not recommended but they’ve only studied women fasting during Ramadan(which is without water too).
The couple of times I’ve waited longer between meals the nausea has passed and I’ve actually enjoyed my food.
So is it harmful to leave a bit longer between meals? Has any-one done this and had a healthy baby?

I’m similar, used to always have at least 12 hour fast overnight. I’ve just been listening to my body and eating when I feel like it. Similar, some mornings I just can’t face more than a few crackers but then I get to lunch and make up for it as I feel better,
I can’t see any reason the gap would do any harm, as long as you get a balanced diet across the rest of the day.

I don't think it's harmful, I regularly used to have ketones in my urine dip when I saw the midwife in the mornings, I still managed to gain weight and had huge babies

Could you sip a smoothie if you’re worried? I would say you’re fine though. Your body has clear ways of telling you when it needs food! 😁

I should probably get my Nutribullet out of storage!
