Do second time sweeps help?

Due to have my second sweep in a few days I'm 40+2! Is it more likely to help the second time round?

I know we are all different but asking peoples personal experiences 😘

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Mine didn’t bring on labour but did dilate me enough to avoid hormonal induction and go straight to waters being broken :)

I had them at 39+2, 4 and 6 because baby was measuring big (first time mum). Each time cervix dilated a little bit more, lost mucus plug after the second one. Unfortunately no contractions but by the time I went in for induction at 40+1 I was 2cm dilated so they broke my waters and baby arrived 8 hours later :)

good luck OP!x
