First post but long time lurker! Just looking for anyone who’s had a similar experience who might be able to tell me what the outcome was for them.
I have previously had two miscarriages (both measured around 6.5 weeks). One was missed and treated medically, one was natural. I’m currently pregnant again, but it’s not looking good - by my dates going by LMP I should be 7 weeks 3 days (periods are regular so fairly confident of this), but a scan today put me at 5 weeks 6 days. I was also scanned a week ago, and was measuring 5 weeks 2 days so there’s only been slight progression over that time. Prior to these scans, my hcg was checked and whilst it was rising, it wasn’t even close to doubling over 48 hours (less than 50% rise).
there is a heartbeat, but the discrepancies in the dates, slow growth and the slow hcg rise are obviously concerning - I’m being scanned again in a week but just wondering if anyone else has had similar and what the outcome was? I’m fairly sure this will end in another miscarriage and am trying to prepare myself for that.
