Stop night shifts/reduced pay with MAT3?

Hi all,

I have a Mat3 from my GP that states I 'may be fit to work if the following advice is followed;' Stop night's shift, possible reduction to shift length/duties.

They have been reluctant to discuss any alterations with me but but sprang into action when I gave them this - but I am a little confused to if this will affect my pay....

Reading from various websites if the changes are from a H&S view, then no changes can be made to pay, but if it is from just my request then it does. So, as I have a MAT3 from GP I would assume that it should not alter my wages?

Obviously they are going forward with deducting from wages but obviously I must challenge them if this isn't the case?

Man the law is confusing, props to all the lawyers out there! :D

Thanks!
