I’ve got a dockatot I plan to use for supervised sleep / to put them down whilst I shower etc. I heard it is now not considered safe for even this? Will you be using one?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Nope! Why bother? Why is it better than a moses basket or cot which is safe?

"Having a shower" is not supervised sleep. You cannot see them and can't guarantee you'll hear them and cannot immediately reach them.

We used a purflo nest which is safer for overnights as DS2 was a problem sleeper.

In an ideal world I wouldn't have used anything, but needs must. Without it DS was awake every 45 min, it was awful!

I had one for DD and will be using it again for DD2. She would sleep for 3 hours in it allowing me to get some much needed downtime.

However I would never have left her in it unsupervised to have a shower. Always in the same room as me and in sight, or with Dad of course.

Exactly this.
