Blood pressure going up!

Just seeing if anyone else has been in the same boat...

I'm 33+1 with my first and so far have not had the easiest pregnancy. I was put on 200mg of Labetalol twice a day at 20 weeks as my blood pressure was high and I had low PlGF. They think I had essential high blood pressure not pregnancy induced but they didn't want it to become pre-eclampsia.

Up until last week the Labetalol seemed to be doing the job and my blood pressure was staying around 120/60. However at my last appointment it was 147/90, I've since been monitoring it at home and it won't go below 140. Has anyone had the same, where Labetalol seemed to stop working the further along they got?

I've got an appointment in the FMAU on Tuesday to have my blood pressure monitored and I'm just wondering what they'll do. I'm hoping they'll just increase my Labetalol but I've read a few things online where some ladies have had to stay in until they were induced!

I also have GD which is diet controlled, low iron which isn't improving even on tablets and baby has been breech at every scan so far. I'm just becoming more and more convinced I'll end up having a c-section!
