How far along were you when you when you announced pregnancy?

Currently 16 weeks and the only people that are my Husband and my Mum 🙈

12 weeks this week. Have told a handful of people who I would want support from if anything went wrong but don't plan on telling anyone else for a few weeks. Defo no big social media announcement xx

I told DP and my best friend very soon after finding out I was pregnant because I was shocked. 12 week scan for my parents, a few weeks later for DP's parents and then just after 20 week scan for siblings as we wanted to wait until we knew baby's sex.

I made it public at about 13 weeks after we'd had our '12 week' scan.

Before than though my mum knew, my sister knew and my husband's family knew plus a handful of friends and I'd told work.

With both of mine I told my mum early on then announced to wider friends and family after 12 week scan

I "announced" at 16 weeks, mainly because I looked so pregnant. Plus I'd run out of excuses for not drinking and not exercising.

I've been telling a handful of people as I go, people I trust and need support from. I'm not planning on doing any kind of announcement or social media or anything, I'll just tell more people from 12+ weeks if I get there x

First at 12 weeks

Next 2 were mcs

Fourth at 25 weeks.

16 weeks

We told our close circle of friends as soon as we knew so a few weeks. We told family at 4 ish months.

1st- 10 weeks after scan
2nd- 12 weeks after scan
3rd- 20 weeks after second scan (was getting too big to hide it any longer)

13 weeks but we had the NIPT so knew results. Not posted on social media but told close family and friends.

Will tell other friends as and when we see them - ran out of excuses for not drinking so I think most fiends had guessed anyway.

Not telling work until after 20 week scan.

8wks for best friend (after early scan & heartbeat confirmed)
12wks parents and in laws
20wks close friends
24wks work

Work- 5 weeks, as soon as I found out because there were some things it was no longer safe for me to do.

My mum and DH's mum- 6 weeks as it was Mothers' Day. Then, despite being asked not to, MIL told anyone she could within the same afternoon.

I told some close friends after my 12 week scan. I never "announced" it on social media etc.

I had lots of problems so waited until 22 weeks. Took me a long time to have a bump. I enjoyed keeping it quiet as nobody treated me differently.

1st fb after the baby was born - lots of problems in the pregnancy. Family knew really early

2nd - fb around 28 weeks, family knew after 20 week scan

3rd - fb around 28 weeks, family knew after 12 week scan

4th - fb after the baby was born, family knew after 20 week scan

Had my 1st pregnancy not had complications I probably would of announced a lot sooner.
