Not a uti

I’m 8 weeks pregnant

Just before I found out I was pregnant I started having UTI symptoms, had a positive pregnancy test and went to my GP to get treated for my water infection. ( I’ve always suffered ) they dipped my urine and said no infection!! I went back yesterday, as I’m still having the burning and he told me it’s no infection or anything in my urine and gave me thrush treatment. I used that lastnight and today I’m still burning.

im not bleeding
I got no discharge apart from the normal
it’s no smell

I am literally just burning

Might just be a pregnancy thing, there will be a lot of extra blood in that area as your uterus starts changing and expanding.

Drink lots and lots of water and try to flush it out (if it is a UTI) and if there's no change in a few days then go back to your GP.

I had similar early pregnancy. Seems my hormones was effecting the acidity of things. Probiotics are meant to help, so I started eating probiotic yoghurts and that sorted it. Might not work for you, but it could be worth a go.
