@MercuryTTC I rang up the maternity hub from the hospitals page as I was a bit late in letting them know. They booked the booking in appointment on the phone. Is there a phone number you can ring to find out?

Bec1328 · 12/07/2023 14:09

I self-referred on the 9th and heard back this morning. They said they’ll be getting me booked in for bloods in week 9 and an appointment with a midwife in week 10. Hopefully you aren’t waiting much longer to hear!

wonderland28 · 12/07/2023 15:43

@MercuryTTC i filled in the form at my GP on the 30th June and still waiting to get back but have booked an early private scan in the meantime!

:-) @Labyrinth86 two months to fall pregnant on your first was super fast too! Sounds as though you are very fertile. Congratulations!

@applefries welcome and congratulations to you too!

Thank you, Kay00!

Congratulations everyone!

I'm either 6 or 7 weeks and have very few symptoms. My boobs can get really sore and I find it difficult to sleep at night so I have to nap in the day. My legs can feel ache. Otherwise, I feel the same.

With my first I was being sick all the time - I had to have a bucket with me at all times and that lasted until week 19. I can't remember when that started though.

How is everyone else doing?

I'll try to keep up with the thread a bit better 😊

krissy12 · 12/07/2023 16:36

I'm holding off booking mine we phone up and get an appointment about week 8 and 9 and they give you a scan appointment at the same time but when I had my mc I cancelled the appointments and they still kept sending me reminders to attend and then an email when I didn't show even though I had receipt of cancellation!

Can I join this thread??I have just found out I'm due March 16 2024🙌 A bit scary, as it's my first baby and it's taken 4 years to get here. Nice to be part of this thread :)
First things I've noticed are sleepiness, clumsiness, and a slight sicky feeling. Happy days 😁

Congratulations!!!

I have increased clumsiness too! I had forgotten about that symptom - thanks for reminding me.

Hopefulhoney6 · 12/07/2023 17:33

I registered with hospital 23rd June. Heard nothing!
but they say 14 working days.
and I’m going to wait until the outcome of my private scan next week to chase.

elarcoiris · 12/07/2023 19:00

@krissy12 sometimes the admin response is terrible. When the EPU confirmed my last miscarriage they then sent me a letter saying they’d cancelled my scan “due to circumstances beyond their control”. Definitely not self referring until I’ve had an early scan this time!

krissy12 · 12/07/2023 19:11

@elarcoiris I think I'll do the same

WAC1 · 12/07/2023 19:24

Anyone else have absolutely zero symptoms? My boobs were in agony last time but this time they feel normal 🤷‍♀️ I don't even feel pregnant. I keep forgetting 😂

mrsgtobe97 · 12/07/2023 19:31

I got my BFP today, at 6 months postpartum, I'm in so much shock. Completely unplanned, I have PCOS and it took 3 years & fertility treatment to have my daughter 🫣 in a lot of shock still.

Psmama22 · 12/07/2023 19:54

@WAC1 same! DD is 16 months and I work full time so I just put it out of my head for now 😂😂

vix_85 · 12/07/2023 19:54

@WAC1 here with you in the no symptom club!

LeopardLover · 12/07/2023 19:56

@WAC1 Me! Well, I feel a bit more tired but I'm not sure that's pregnancy related tbh and more the result of having a two year old 😅 I'm only 5+2 and seem to remember a bit of nausea kicking in at 6 weeks last time.

I'm also delaying registering until I'm a bit further along.

@MrsG2907 wow! That must've been quite the surprise. How are you feeling other than a bit shocked? Plus side, your little ones will likely be very close! X

Nmvasey85 · 12/07/2023 19:58

@WAC1 pretty much symptom free, other than the odd wave of nausea but I don't feel on the verge or being sick, maybe a bit of a watery mouth and I think it's maybe in my head. The lack of symptoms fills me with anxiety! I am only 5 weeks 4 days, when did people's symptoms typically start. My first pregnancy I was literally like a zombie!

Nmvasey85 · 12/07/2023 19:58

Congrats @mrsgtobe97

Ceearr · 12/07/2023 20:16

Hello Ladies! So glad I just came
across this group, got my bfp on Saturday this is my second pregnancy I have a 4 year old. Looking like around 4 weeks 5 days and no symptoms yet apart from a few cramps and a brief wave of nausea at the weekend. Boobs don’t even hurt yet can’t remember what week that started last time? If you have a facebook group let me know I had for my first pregnancy and it was lovely especially in the early days when you can’t discuss it with many people! 😊

mrsgtobe97 · 12/07/2023 21:16

@LeopardLover thank you! Just mostly shock, it was completely out of the blue so almost feel like everything has been flipped upside down. Symptom wise not many tbh! Gagging when brushing my teeth but that's it 😂

LeopardLover · 12/07/2023 21:48

@MrsG2907 hopefully it'll sink in soon then it'll be really exciting 🤣❤️ how is little one? Are you managing to get some sleep? I don't think I slept until my son was 18 months 😅xx

LeopardLover · 12/07/2023 21:49

@Ceearr Congratulations and welcome! I think symptoms kicked in at 6 weeks with my son, so expecting a shift next week. I can't remember when the beige food phase was 😂xx

Ceearr · 12/07/2023 21:58

Thank you! Ahh yes the beige food phase, I pretty much lived off crisps, cheese on toast and super noodles for a few weeks last pregnancy 😂 x

BudgetBuster · 12/07/2023 22:46

I'm 5w5d today and no major symptoms yet. Yesterday and today I have severe exhaustion, and a bit of back pain today. @Nmvasey85 Trying to count my blessings as I know one day I'll wake up and just be sick 😂

blodyn91 · 12/07/2023 23:00

@MrsG2907 ohh wow! Like Leopard I have a 2year old, and definitely didn't have a full night sleep till he was way over 1 🙈🙈 so hoping you are managing better!
Anybody having cravings?
I feel im craving g savoury .... smoked salmon and cheese. Or maybe its in my head 😅

Also with work, anybody else work in an environment with health and safety risks? I think Im going to tell my manager at out 6 monthly meeting (next week or so) because even if the worse happen I would want her to know.

mrsgtobe97 · 13/07/2023 04:45

@blodyn91 @LeopardLover so I'm really lucky she is up max 1 times a night and goes down around 7pm, she slept through last night which is great & not uncommon for her. I'm up wide awake feeling so sick and teary, don't think it's sunk in at all 🫣

krissy12 · 13/07/2023 06:20

@blodyn91 I will probably have to tell my manager at some point to I work in a hospital so some manual handling and infection issues
