Lizzy26 · 08/07/2023 16:23

Amazing news @BraveHeart91 ! How exciting!

I’ve been getting really awful cramps, like the kind that make your vision blurred and make you feel like you’re about to vomit and pass out, it’s happened twice and both times I’ve been at work. I’ve been sat in the office writing notes and stuff for a couple of hours both times and I feel like maybe it’s from how I’m sitting? I can’t even blame it on being on my feet more because I really wasn’t this morning. I spoke to the early pregnancy unit the other day about the cramping and they were really reassuring and nice luckily, but I’m still wondering what could be causing it.

Prudence00 · 08/07/2023 16:34

@BraveHeart91 - congratulations! One of us had to be having twins!

Kay00 · 08/07/2023 18:33

@Lizzy26 gosh, those cramps sound intense! Did the EPU give you any advice on how to deal with them?

I feel like my symptoms so far have been very mild. Zero sickness, a little diarrhea, a little tired, peeing a little more, a sore back. I guess I should be grateful 😅

BraveHeart91 · 08/07/2023 18:48

@Prudence00 😂 exactly one of us had too. I’m still in complete utter shock it hasn’t sunk in. But thank you x

Lizzy26 · 08/07/2023 19:13

@kay00 she said to stay well hydrated, make sure I’m not on my feet too much and have a warm bath with Epsom salts. I’m probably not drinking enough to be fair.

Everyone’s symptoms are different I guess and it fluctuates a lot. Sickness has been a bit of an issue this past week or so, dry heaving a few times a day and think I would’ve been fully sick first thing this morning if I’d had anything to eat or drink 🤮 hoping it starts to ease up soon.

GoingToInfinity · 08/07/2023 19:30

Welcome @krissy12 and congratulations!

GoingToInfinity · 08/07/2023 19:33

Just booked my early scan in the 29th of July when I should be 8 weeks exactly. I'm nervous but allowing myself to feel a teeny bit excited today.

anonymous20231 · 08/07/2023 19:43

I just saw this thread and had to jump on, Im due 2nd March! 5wk6 days today 🫶🏽

LeopardLover · 08/07/2023 19:46

@GoingToInfinity Glad you're feeling a bit more positive and it's exciting you have a scan to look forward to!

@krissy12 Welcome and congrats! I have a two year old too. Sorry about your MMC 💔 Fingers crossed this is positive pregnancy for you.

@Lizzy26 You poor thing. I can't believe that's normal! It sounds so intense. Hope it passes soon and drinking more water helps.

@Kay00 Super mild here too. Some light cramping and a bit more tired at the end of the day 😅 it was the same with my son. Nausea kicked in at 6 weeks! I'm still only 4 weeks 😴

krissy12 · 08/07/2023 19:57

I've had a rollercoaster few days. Did a test late on Thursday and jr was negative. Did a digi and it said not pregnant: I'd gotten a pregnant reading before.

Freaked out but realised could be because it's late, ive drank a lot had had a lot of wees that day.

First thing the next morning did another digi and said pregnant 1-2.. that was yesterday morning

This morning when I wiped there was blood and there was blood in the toilet but was hard to tell how much as it was dark and the lights broke.

Im now having v light spotting and cramps but I can't tell if the cramps are what I've been having or period cramps. I do remember going to the dr with my first with cramps and everything was fine but I didn't have the bleeding.

Im praying it doesn't turn into a period and I'll book a scan for next sunday if I don't come on.

It's been such an emotional few days

Update- it's turned into a full period so sadly my pregnancy has ended. Good luck to all of you xx

pambeeslyhalpert2 · 08/07/2023 20:36
