I know it’s very early days but I’ve recently found out I’m pregnant and due 1st March 2024.

I sent my form off 2 days ago and have an app for 8th aug. I was planning to take my DD as I'm a SAHM and she doesn't go to nursery but it takes 1.5/2hrs! she will not stay still for that long so trying to find someone to have her 😂

Ive booked an early scan for 8 weeks which is still so far away!

Also I'm not waiting till 12 weeks to tell people. I'm telling people that I would tell if something went wrong as I'd like their support then anyway. It's so so hard keeping it in and I've told a few people!

I've got my booking appointment booked in for July 31st.

I'm still feeling very anxious today. I've got cramps but honestly I think I'm just constipated 🙈 the iron in the prenatals is bunging me up. I feel like the start of pregnancy always goes ridiculously slowly.

Hi! I’m constipated/crampy too! Hadn’t thought of it being the iron! I’ve told a friend, will tell a few more over the next few weeks too I imagine, im too excited!

I bled a lot in the first trimester with my DD. Turned out to be a sub chronic haemorrhage. I also had some brown spotting at the start, put it down to implantation

Can anyone recommend any good gooks about pregnancy during the stages?

I'm going to book an early scan for 7wk+2 days which is in a couple of weeks time ... If feels like a lifetime away 😅

I did self referral to midwife’s but I haven’t heard anything back from them is that normal do I have to get in touch with gp ?

@BraveHeart91 I had to leave a message for my midwife group, someone called back but said they won't take any details down until I'm 7 weeks.

How long has it been?x

In Devon the callback is around 10 weeks as services are so overwhelmed. Of course will be different everywhere

@pambeeslyhalpert2 Well I rang gp 5 days after I found out I was pregnant as I had bleeding and he told me to get a midwife it’s been about 2 weeks.

@vix_85 oh wow! That's quite the wait. I should self refer ASAP really but I just want to wait a couple of weeks (until I'm 6 weeks). I remember services were stretched when I was having a covid baby.

I wonder if anyone will have twins 😍

I keep testing too because of this. 😅 Hopefully the symptoms will kick in soon! I didn't feel a little sick until I was 6 weeks last time.

@LeopardLover I keep feeling sick then I’m heaving I don’t no if it’s in my head tho hahah I don’t no if I’m coming or going. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

@eightieskid I’m also 6.5 weeks - tender boobs still there, bloating/constipation is pretty bad although it’s better today so I’m hoping the pregnancy probiotics are kicking in and extreme tiredness hits me hard around 4pm. I visited the office yesterday so travelled 2.5 hours on top of my work day and last night I had aches all over like the start of flu!

No sickness or nausea but my food preferences have changed.

I’d say AIBU but I know I’m not 😆today I’ve been into the office in London, told DH to give the girls nuggets for dinner. Had to stay late so sat on the train home thinking of nuggets, got in just before 9 absolutely starving and DH has eaten the entire pack between him, a 3 year old and 1 year old. Normally it easily feeds the 4 of us. Nothing else in the house I feel like eating and I just wanted to cry - bloody pregnancy hormones!

@LeopardLover you kno what I have noticed last 2 weeks I’ve been sneezing and I never sneeze so I don’t no if that’s a symptom or not. I don’t suffer hay fever or anything and I’m not poorly.

Can I join?! I'm not sure how many weeks I am because I haven't had a period since I had my son (16 months old) but had a negative test 3 weeks ago and digital says 2-3 weeks so I assume I'm about 4 or 5 weeks.

Absolutely shocked as our son took 14 months to conceive and i stopped the pill in May so only a couple of months this time!

Zero symptoms, same with my son 🤷‍♀️ fingers crossed everything goes well for everyone!

@BraveHeart91 me too!! I thought I’d randomly developed hay fever in the middle of summer 🤣 but it’s literally started in the last two weeks.

@Prudence00 that's good to hear you've not got nausea. Hopefully it stays that way for you.
The tiredness must be hard to manage though. Can you work much at home?

It's 3:50am and the nausea has woken me up. It never ends. This bit is going to go so slowly.
