my implantation bleeding is on the second day now- its gone a bright reddy colour but it still has brown in it. i'm not bleeding heavily, so it isn't like my menstrual flow, its fairly light but i'm quite worried and scared, as i am only quite young and my mother has not exactly been helpful. i would say it's maybe about a teaspoon of blood? the bleeding had all started yesterday but i am so so so paranoid!

I have no pearls of wisdom but could you contact your midwife (you might now have one assigned yet) or your local maternity ward?

How do you know it's implantation bleeding? It could be implantation bleeding or it could be a light period, or spotting pre-period. Even if you don't usually have that, strange things happen when you are TTC....if you haven't yet had a positive pregnancy test I don't think this is anything to worry about.

How do you know IT’s implantation bleeding? It only happens in around a quarter of women so isn’t that common, it usually occurs before you get a positive test. If you have taken a test and it’s positive, bleeding is pretty common in early pregnancy and can be for a number of reasons.
