Brixton Hix, should I be concerned?

Hi, I’m just 29 weeks with my second baby and this is my second pregnancy.

It has been a very stressful week and I have been feeling burnt out.

last night I had two very painful “contractions” in a row, 5 mins apart. My toddler was climbing all over me so I stood up and that seemed to stop them.

This morning I had it again in bed but no where near as painful (more so needing to go to the loo pains). Again I changed positions and they stopped.

I know that Braxton Hicks can be more intense with subsequent babies. Is this normal?

Annoying I only saw my midwife a couple of days ago so I won’t see her again for a few weeks.

I'm 30 weeks today and on Wednesday I also had two massive contractions about 30 each withing 5 min. It started from the top, initially felt like bad stomach cramp but then my whole bump felt squashed, literally made me cry. Don't remember having anything like it with my both previous pregnancies. Apparently baby movements can induce Braxton Hicks and my baby doesn't give me break, her favourite is poking me near belly button, so strong and painful 😬 that's probably because she is head down, but spine on one side of my belly and I get bombarded with legs.

sounds quite normal. I didn’t feel mine much but I know some people who had them really badly even though people tell you they’re not supposed to hurt. Things like dehydration can make them worse.
