Hi ladies,

Just after some reassurance, has anyone had a growth scan/any scan around 23 weeks and can share their measurements? I’m worried about my baby boy’s HC and AC but the hospital don’t seem too concerned. At 23+4 his HC is measuring 22cm and AC measuring 21cm. I feel so worried!

TIA x

Why are you worried if the hospital/midwives aren't concerned?

I don’t know because they seem so big compared to the chart and %

My ds is in school now, he's always been 99 centile for head measurement in scans and during his childhood. Its never caused an issue. They did monitor him post birth for a little while but there's not reason other than he's got a bigger head. He's grown in to and you can't actually tell now by looking only when they measure.

I've got growth scans booked from 28 weeks what made you have one at 23 weeks? X

Lexi02 · 13/05/2024 23:38

I was 28 weeks at the time of this scan not 23
