Freaking out :( Anyone's test never get as dark as the control line?

I'm 5 weeks 4 days today. And my anxiety is through the roof, I'm really, really struggling to be honest (so please only success stories). I've had brown discharge for almost 6 days now. I've got an early scan booked in for next week. I don't really have any pregnancy symptoms so I just did a test today (a first response rapid) and the line came back strong positive but not as dark as the control line. Almost, but a bit lighter. I was hoping by this point for a dye stealer or at least a VERY dark positive. Just looking for others who haven't recieved a positive as dark as the control and everything was fine. Thank you x

I'm sure not everyone gets dye stealers so don't put all your hope on them, I had to tell myself this.
You could try a clear blue digital, that gives you the estimated weeks of pregnancy. But again, they're not always accurate

Hi. I have done a test this morning at 5 weeks and the test line is a lot darker than the control line, have I got the lines the right way?
