Is this a BFP or an EVAP??

Hi,

My period is 2 weeks late, I've done numerous tests all stark BFN but this is the first one I've done in about a week, my partner and myself had unprotected sex after my period was late but I'm starting to worry that maybe this was when I was actually ovulating late. Done a test this morning with FMU and a very very faint line showed up within the 3 minute time frame but unsure if it's a BFP or just an EVAP? Like it's so hard to see but it defo is there, I can see it better with the naked eye, I tried inverting as well and it's there too.

No clue where I'm at in my cycle, I'm 16 days late for my period, CD 41 - no clue when I ovulated at all. Cycles were regular up until this month.

Sorry you got no replies at the time. I can see that... faint but there. May I ask how you went on?

@DarkCrystal85 hi, it’s fine don’t apologise! Ended up having two of those same tests which were both a faint positive, then done about 5 tests after that all BFN, even done a FRER and that was negative lol. Period still hasn’t arrived, I’m now 23 days late, CD48 and not a clue what’s going on!!

Clearblue are notorious for these lines when negative. I’d never recommend them. You may have just had an anovulatory cycle

@PickledScrump yeah I’ve made a mental note never to buy them again, I’d be due my next period round about now or any time in the next week so I’ll wait and see if it comes and if not then I’ll go to the doctor probably, 51 days is the longest cycle I’ve had so I hope it comes soon

Hi, yeah I did end up getting my period after 49 days - the two clearblue tests must’ve just been false because every other test I done (and I done a lot) were all negative. Sorry, probably not the answer you were looking for!
