Hey, looking for a handhold/positive stories.

Currently I'm hospital after reduced movements and the monitoring didn't meet criteria twice.
Getting a scan today, but they said if the next monitoring doesn't meet then they will be discussing steroids for delivery.

Also, baby is breech so no chance of an induction.

This will be my 2nd c section and now I'm here facing it I'm terrefied. Not only of him coming early but the surgery.

Any words of wisdom would be hugely appreciated 😢

My DD2 was born by c section for reduced movements 5 days ago. DD1 was born by induction and I was really scared of the c section but I found the whole thing really positive and almost enjoyable.

I felt no pain whatsoever, couldn't even feel the epidural as they did local anaesthetic first. From being cut to her being born was 4 minutes and they had music playing and were chatting away to me to keep me distracted. Staff were super friendly and spoke me through everything they were doing.

Started to get some pain around 4/5 hours afterwards and they kept me topped up on painkillers and I've been fine since. Went for a shower 6 hours later and walking around fine. I'm only in pain now I'm home and not keeping on top of my painkillers properly but when I am on top of them it's fine.

In regards to your baby being poorly, I went for reduced movements and DD came out and needed to go to NICU as she was struggling quite a bit and I do believe she was supposed to come out early. I was 37 weeks. 2 other ladies in my room had their emergency c sections at 36 and at 37 weeks and they were both home the next day and their babies were fine!

I've had 3 C-sections, the first by far was harder to recover from. Last one I went home next day and was absolutely fine.

I think you recover quieter the more you have.
Key thing is regular paracetamol to manage the pain after.

Good luck!
