Sore breasts on and off ?

Hiya
im currently pregnant 5 weeks 4 days and my breasts are sore on and off. Is this normal and has anyone had this? And also don’t hurt in the morning but do towards night.
Im worrying as with my daughter they hurt so much all the time and I’ve recently had an ectopic where I experienced no symptoms and a miscarriage at 5 weeks where I had symptoms then quickly lost the symptoms

It's totally normal for that to come and go - I've not had a successful pregnancy so can't comment from first hand experience, but certainly in my current pregnancy some days they are worse than others, sometimes during the day they'll feel ok then get more sore in the evening, sometimes I wake up with them sore! Generally speaking - symptoms are expected to ebb and flow in the first trimester, try not to worry too much x

Mine only hurt badly until I'd missed my period and then calmed down. She's 17 months now so try not to worry

Early pregnancy for me was the same, my boobs would hurt, then wouldn’t really, then one would hurt more than the other….it’s a fun Rollercoaster 😂. I’m 11w 3days and they have hurt none stop from week 7ish. Also yes mine hurt more in the evening definitely! Congratulations xx

Sore breasts on and off are a normal part of hormonal fluctuations in the menstrual cycle. Breast tenderness can be caused by fluctuating estrogen and progesterone levels. so do not worry about it!👐

Sore breasts are very normal. Mine hurt so bad early pregnancy, it would hurt to have a shower. It will pass and there is nothing to worry about.

I am 5 weeks 2 days and feeling exactly the same just comes and goes x

Hi @SH998 I had my 8 week scan and all was fine with a nice string heart beat just waiting for my 12 week scan now xx

@ChateauProvence oh huge congrats, that’s great news. Did your symptoms come back? Im currently 4week 5 days and woke today with absolutely no sore boobs at all. They weren’t hugely sore before but deffo more than now. I can’t stop panicking now.

It comes and go tbh the last few weeks it has mainly be extreme exhaustion and some nausea but the boobs were on and off especially a few weeks ago. Try not too panic it is very normal not to have any symptoms

@ChateauProvence im really doing my best but it’s so tough. I suffered a miscarriage last year and knew due to the symptoms stopping overnight. It was later than now (8 weeks last year, currently 5 weeks) so might be different as still early but doesn’t help with my stress levels 😢

Hey ladies, was all ok in the end? I'm 5+3 today and have had no symptoms today. Nausea gone, breasts that absolutely killed before don't hurt at all today and don't seem so swollen. Terrified after a 14 week loss in January 😢

@Ttcmumma hey lovely, I’m currently 7 weeks 1 day and symptoms very mild which come and go, some days I feel them slightly, other days I don’t feel pregnant at all. Apparently it’s common for symptoms to come and go.

Ive been that stressed over it I booked an early scan as my clinic don’t scan for another week and half. Baby was measuring as it should with a very strong heartbeat 🥰

Please don’t panic, it’s more common than you think x

@SH998 thank you! Really appreciate the update, will try not to worry and hope for the best. Epu are seeing me for a Evan in a week when I'm just over 6 weeks due to my previous loss but not sure I can even look at the screen after last time!

@Ttcmumma i also suffered a loss last year so felt the same when they started scanning, they could see how anxious I was and told me immediately all was OK then continued with their checks. I’m sure all will be OK.

Hey @Ttcmumma i am now 13 weeks scan showed a healthy baby and still hardly any symptoms- sore boobs on and off but that’s it at the moment x
