Hi

I am ttc my 2nd dc and I am on CD 23.

I have been feeling as though AF is on the way for a few days now.

I have also heard that AF symtoms can be the same as early pregnancy.

I have a windy stomach I rememeber having this with last pregancy, waves of nausea, slight cramps, and funny fluttery feelings in stomach yes I know the last one sounds daft.

Also feel tired but get like that anyway.

What do you think is it possible.

I am not sure when AF should be due.
My AF went awol for 3 months last August when I started ttc due to a underactive thyroid.
On its return I have had a 33 day cycle then a 23 day cycle.

tbh I am a bit fed up with it all what with when my af went awol and all of the pregancy tests for them all to be a BFN.
Cycle has now returned in all I can say I have been ttc for 6 months now.

someone on the temping thread had a BFP at this CD after OV early.... could try testing?

LadyOfWaffle · 22/02/2008 16:20

My period went missing, took 4 (one performed by a chemist to make sure) pregnancy tests, all BFN, then around the time my second was due (but no idea of dates) I got pretty much all the symptoms you said about, tested again just to double check and it was a BFP... the only way you will really tell for sure is to test. GOod luck x

if it is 2 weeks since you TTC, then you could test, but CD 23 sounds a bit early.. i would wait until you are due on..

worzil · 22/02/2008 16:28

Oh God

I am scared to test in case it is a BFN.

I honestly do not think I could take it.

It really upset me before when AF went awol and I carried out test after test for them all to be a BFN.

Found out through a blood test that underactive thyroid had caused it.

Might it be too early to test should I give it until CD 33 as that is how long my one cycle was.

Oh heck I really want to be pregnant now.

Do you think you are on a 33 or 23 day cycle atm? If you are at CD23 of a 23 day cycle then you could just about justify test... but suspect it is a little early.

TotalChaos

Thats just it I don't know.

I am shamed to admit to this but before I started ttc I never paid any attention to my cycle lengths.
I vowed to get a better picture once I started ttc.

That became difficult when AF went awol for 3 months.
On its return I have had a 23 day cycle, and a 33 day cycle.

Christ all of this guessing and wondering and AF will probably turn up anyway crushing all my hopes.

oh i see, I misunderstood, thought you meant that ordinarily it was 23, 33, 23, 33. In that case I wouldn't bother testing until CD 33.

worzil · 22/02/2008 16:53

Yes TotalChaos

I will probably wait until then.
At least for now I can hang onto that nice feeling that I may be pregnant.
