11 weeks symptoms gone

Hi all I’m 11+2 and on waking today I feel like a brand new woman! I haven’t been too effected by symptoms but definitely was having some nausea and tiredness… today I’ve needed a wee a bit more (which has has been the case from the off) and had one or two very light tummy pains.. but otherwise nothing?

I’ve read that it may be due to the placenta taking over around this time.

just looking for some reassurances really that this has happened too others and all turned out well? Our 12w scan is a week today but is feeling like FOREVER away!!

Yeah don’t worry, the placenta takes over at about 10 weeks, give or take. Some symptoms might come back some days, but you should be over the worst of the nausea now. Enjoy!

I’m 11+3 and feel the same! My sore boobs have definitely disappeared but my nipples are still sensitive and my boobs are bigger and veiny! I’ve managed to not be sick/feeling nauseous my trigger was definitely smells since the weekend. But I have noticed I am forever hungry! I’ve read it quite normal to start to feel ‘better’ this week.

Hi! I rang my early pregnancy unit freaking out they basically said unless I have severe pain or bleeding to just get on with it 😅 I think Google is our best friend and biggest enemy once you start Googling symptoms isn’t it?! I felt a little bit nauseous again this morning and was actually glad! Have you had your 12 week scan yet? When are you due we must be about the same time 😊 is it your first? Xx

It’s easier said than done but I definitely had to have a word with myself and told myself it’s okay to enjoy this journey and to trust it! We tried for nearly 2 years to get to this point so I have all my fingers and toes crossed. My scan is Monday first thing thank god - due 7th Jan. I also had a scan when I was 7 weeks which showed everything to be how it should, baby had a heartbeat etc and was measuring spot on. How about you? X

Oh wow are journeys are so similar lol we’ve also been trying 2 years to get here, think that’s why I’m so anxious because it took so long to get here and I don’t want to lose it! I felt a bit sick again last night and this morning which was a welcome sign weirdly 😂 And also due on 7th! Our scan is next weds, v.jealous of your Monday morning appointment lol you’ll have to let me know how it goes! I’m sure it will all be great. We had 8wk scan and had heartbeat and was the right size so hoping that it is a positive start we can continue! Is this your first baby ☺️? Xx

Hey, just wanted to check in and let you know my 12 week scan went well! I’m measuring 2 days ahead of what was originally thought and now due 5th January. Hope your scan goes well x

Totally normal. I freaked out when my boobs stopped killing me but all good.

Aww that’s amazing news!! I bet it was such a lovely feeling for you was it? I’ve got about 46 hours to wait still not that I’m counting.. longest wait ever and feeling so anxious so hoping a weight is lifted on weds! Did they say much else / what happens at the appointment? So happy for you! Xx

I was so overwhelmed before going in I had a little cry and was heaving. My husband thought I’d lost the plot.

The sonographer asks if you want the testing for Downs, Edwards etc done which we did. She then basically just scans you and then she checked they had two arms, two legs, their brain was the correct shape, their bladder, and she takes lots of measurements. She also checked the cord for any hernias and also any womb abnormalities. And then does a little calculation for your due date. I also had my carbon monoxide level took which I think is standard at every appointment and then my blood test last. All in all we were in about 40 mins and it was fine xx
