Progynova- how long to take after FET

Hi all

I have fortunately had a positive pregnancy test following a FET. How long did you take Progynova for in this situation?

Sorry to jump on but @Busybeezs did you gradually stop the progynova? I’m 9+4 currently and I’ve had no response as to when to too progynova and progesterone.

Thanks all. I only asked as I freaked this morning Thinking I’d made a mistake by continuing it! I’ve spoken to my clinic and their protocol is to continue Progynova to 10 weeks after FET. To stop progesterone and Progynova at 10 weeks without a cut down, guess different clinics might advise different things!

@Lauradorch Thank you :) I’m on both lubion and pessaries. And then progynova. Will you be stopping at 10 weeks?

I stopped at 10 I think but continued the progesterone pessaries fully until 12. then down to 1 a day for another few weeks as I was nervous to just stop progesterone outright.
I stopped lubion at 12 too.

Excuse me, I just realised I'm absolutely off my tits- I took it until 12 weeks and then just abruptly stopped. Initially clinic mentioned just taking til 8 and then this changed to 12. No real explanation. No issues when I stopped either. Good luck!

I'm 10+6. Been told to carry on everything until 12 weeks.

Morning
pessary
Steroids 20mg
Inhixa injection
Oestrogen 2 tablets

Evening
Progesterone injection (lubion)
Pessary

Every other night -
3 100mg oestrogen patches

I will stop everything at 12 but have to wean down the steroids xx

Have just spoken to my consultant. He said I could stop anything oestrogen based from ten weeks. I'm now eleven so what a lovely surprise!! Everything else I have to continue to 12 and then wean off the steroids.

Anyone feel different after dropping oestrogen? I'm on patches and progynova xx
