Adenomyosis in pregnancy

I posted last week about bleeding and concerns. The triplets have been seen on ultrasound last Thursday as fine and no one could tell me why I was bleeding. In another conversation people are asking about adenomyosis and complications. I was told that was my reason for Ivf implantation failure but no one mentioned it could cause this too. One of the complications adenomyosis causes is miscarriage in the 1st and 2nd trimester. I'm now terrified!

Anyone have anything they know or experienced about this.

Hello :)

Didn't want to read & run; I've not experienced this myself, but, I know someone who's had twins, and bleed all the way through the entire pregnancy.
She was seen by consultants extremely often for monitoring, but they never gave her an explanation as to why.
Sometimes the blood would light spotting type, a few days after it'll be like a full period.
It was all very confusing (especially with no definite answer as to why) ... tons of people gave their views/opinions on what they 'thought' it could be; and all it did was make her anxiety worse.

See carried her twins, and gave birth to healthy identical boys :)
I guess what I'm trying to say is; unless you are told by an actual professional there is a major concern, take no notice.
As long as they're happy with the progress, and everything looks well on your blood results & scans; & you've no major gut feeling screaming at you ... put your feet up & relax hun.

I genuinely wish you all the love, luck & happiness in the universe!

@bracemyselfagain thank you for your positivity. I'm trying to take the frame of mind that each scan I have that's fine will be another step closer to the end goal. No one at the hospital seems concerned at all. They're just seeing how it goes.

This is my sixth pregnancy with one living child so I'm hoping the triplets are fine. It's been so scary though. I think dr google has ruined my life though.

I can only imagine what you've been through - and the thoughts floating around in your mind right now, sounds like you've had a real rough deal :(

Try & stay strong, and take it easy x

@bracemyselfagain so sorry I've missed your comments! We are all doing fine. Made it to 27weeks so far but with a few hospital admissions. I have placenta accreta and so will have to have a hysterectomy when it comes to a section. It's fine though. I think I have enough children and we've been through a lot already to get them.

Gosh @allthecats1982 i just gasped at that wonderful photo!

I had advanced searched you following a post you made where your TSH was 0.02 in the first trimester so wondered how you’d got on. How absolutely marvellous that you have three beautiful babies now. I’m so pleased for you 😊
