looking for any experiences good or bad with any similar situation to the one we find ourselves in.
timeline:
10th March: gave birth to our daughter who was keeping at 24 weeks and 5 days
12th April: first period
28th April: baby conceived
1st June: 7 week baby scan - baby was measuring 2.8mm and they said she was more like 5 weeks pregnant. Heartbeat seen.
5th June: some brown spotting
6th June: re-scan, baby fine, heartbeat seen, no measurement given at this scan.
20th June: 7 week re-scan - baby now measuring 4.6mm which they advise baby is behind what they would expect to see. They said they think they seen a heartbeat but weren’t 100% certain. They showed us but we couldn’t see it.
we are preparing for the worst. Scan booked for next Wednesday to check growth and heartbeat.
We are really not sure what to make of it all, we have some website growth charts that plots us at somewhere around 6 weeks, however at 8 weeks they are expected to be 16mm which means she has to triple in size, and even if she is 2-3 weeks behind how does that work in relation to period date etc.
I have had no symptoms of miscarriage.
