Possible food poisoning 4 weeks pregnant

I found out I was pregnant yesterday, probably about 4 weeks or maybe even just under.

today I’ve started with diarrhoea and I’m concerned that it could be food poisoning as I ate buffet food on Sunday and it was a hot day with the food laid out.

im concerned about the effect on the baby if it is. Should I be getting medical advice?

I wouldn’t worry too much, it could be a bug or even caused by the pregnancy as the hormones can affect your digestive system. There’s not much you can do just stay hydrated

food poisoning comes on quickly so it wouldn’t be from a buffet on Sunday. Perhaps it’s hormone related or could just be random. Stay hydrated and eat what you can, especially dry carbs
