39 weeks is this normal?

I’m currently 39+1 the past 2 night I’ve been bouncing on my birthing ball as I’ve been feeling mild cramps. Tonight when using it I’ve became hot & sweaty & my nose started bleeding. I’ve came off it & sat down my nose has stopped bleeding but still feel very hot. Have I bounced on it too long or something? Never experienced this happening after use before.

Yes, I used to get really hot and lots of nose bleeds when I was pregnant with my third baby. Every time I had to hurry to the train in the heat I would get a nose bleed. I was told it was normal because of the hormones and the increased blood volume, but it was still unsettling.

So I think it is classed as normal, but if you are worried it is always worth a quick phone call to make sure.

I’ve had hot flushes & nose bleeds during this pregnancy in the past but was worried because I’d been on the birthing ball & happened while I was bouncing on it & thought something was wrong or if I’d just been on it too long
