Should I be worried about my low blood pressure?

I had a really sore head today so took my blood pressure at home just to check. It was low every time I did it, around 85/55. My headache has got a bit better but I’ve been out of breath a few times today and got in bed tonight and felt like I couldn’t stop heavy breathing. Don’t know if any of it’s related but is this all quite normal or should I be speaking to my midwife about it? I’ve scared myself a bit when I saw that low blood pressure can cause the placenta/cord not to work as well. I’m trying to drink loads of extra water as it could also be dehydration related!

What's your normal bp reading?

@boydoggies its generally on the lower side but not usually below 90/60 like that. Was 111/70 at my last appointment

So not too drastic. Could be the heat, dehydration, fatigue, stage of pregnancy etc. Sounds like you're making a good effort to stay hydrated. Keep an eye and contact your midwife if it continues to cause concerns. Check your pulse too.
