First time pregnant so it's all new to me, but is this normal?

I'm nearly 18 weeks pregnant now, Past two weeks I've been experiencing something like extreme hot flushes, my body feels very hot to the touch, and it's almost like my skin is burning and heat is just poring out of me!

During the first trimester I used to get some hot flushes but this is something else!

I feel so restless and I feel like nothing helps, I'm constantly drinking water so I know I'm not dehydrated, I've tried ice packs, having an ice lolly, a quick cold shower or a wash, even sitting in front of the fan!!

Yes. You’re temperature does rise slightly in pregnancy mixed with the heat we’ve been having makes for being very hot
