Gender prediction help!! Think my scan has been read wrong! Let me know thoughts!

I had my ultra sound done for gender prediction at 16+4 and we found out we are having a beautiful baby boy! However I can’t help but stare at this image and think I’m going crazy seeing the hamburger for the girl parts. Looking closer at it I’m starting to wonder if what they ultrasound tech thought was a penis could maybe be the umbilical cord? I also notice the penis is long, has a slight wave but otherwise quite straight (doesn’t go in at the end), not centred between the legs and I can’t notice the ‘buldge’ for the testicals! I’ve attached two pics, one I have circled where I see the hamburger!
Let me know your thoughts and if you think it’s worth me getting a rescan before I carry on decorating lol

Looks like a boy to me.

You have to remember the sonographer is looking at this image in real time. She's not basing off this photo like you are, she was looking, moving the wand around, seeing from different angles to make the judgement of boy.

I'd trust the sonographer who does this day in day out. They also take three or four different images to confirm, and as pp said above, are looking in real time.

The 'Hamburger' is three very clear white lines (two girls here) if you have to circle them to point them out then it's not it.

I don't know how you can tell from that photo. Unless you've had training in ultrasounds, I'd have to trust the sonographer who says it's a boy!

Also when you have your 20week anomaly scan you'll have a chance to ask the sonographer for their opinions

Looks like a boy to me, I have 2 and 1 girl, looks nothing like my girls scan.

I can see what your saying about the picture, as others have said they would have more views than the pics they gave you, but personally if it were me I wouldn't be convinced it's a boy....

Why not enjoy the surprise. I’m not even buying anything until few weeks before let alone decorating…

Hey, I had my 20 week scan and they confirmed a boy, he’s also arrived since. I think it was just the angle or lighting when they took the picture from the scan but was glad they could double confirm! :)
