Numb left thigh

I'm 35 weeks pregnant & for the last few weeks
I've been experiencing numbness in my left thigh which comes & goes several times a day. It doesn't stop me doing anything but I just notice it. Has anyone else has this in pregnancy?

Yes! I've had this in both my pregnancies, it's called Meralgia Parasthesia and it's essentially a trapped nerve in your leg. For me at least it's been completely harmless, it went away as soon as I gave birth.
Such an odd sensation though, not anything you'd describe as painful, just an awareness of there being a bit of a blank space where you know you should be able to feel things, right?!!

I had it just after I gave birth, think it was a trapped nerve where things got a bit squished! Lasted about a month then back to normal!

I had this when pregnant nearly 60 years ago. Left leg only. It sometimes ached, and this was relieved by raising the foot on to eg a low wall if out walking.

yes I had this too! I used to get strange spasms in it sometimes then it would be numb when touching. it did go after labor but might have been a week or so after
