Sneak peak for gender (yes it should say sex)

Has anyone done any of those? Which one is the best if you have? I know, I know it’s not that long to wait at all. It shouldn’t matter. We didn’t find out with our first but this baby has taken so much time and ivf that we are just desperate to know anything about him/her!

I was planning to do the sneak peek clinical one at a clinic near me as we were getting an early scan anyway so felt although it was expensive it wasn’t actually that much more than the scan. In the end up i didn’t book it, I think I was just so anxious that everything would be okay at the scan that I almost forgot about it for a second. When everything ended up fine at the end of the 7th week, something came over me one night and although I didn’t have much faith in it being accurate I ordered the at home sneak peek one. Sent it away but have a boy already, a partner and male pets in the house so fully assumed it would say boy. I explained it all to my partner before and said really I was only doing it to see if it said girl because if it said anything else it could still be either boy or girl (since they’re searching for male dna and the absence of it pretty much guarantees it’s a girl and girls are hardly ever wrong). I didn’t hold out much hope, thought I’ll get this email, itl say boy then we’ll wait and see at the 16 week scan. Couldn’t believe it when it said girl! So I pretty much knew from 8 weeks that it was a girl. It was nice because people didn’t even know I was pregnant but I walked about for weeks knowing not only that I was pregnant but what the gender was too! I’d say if you’ve got a lot of boys in the house it can be hit or miss but worth a shot 😊 There’s a Facebook group that I followed and there’s a lot of people get it saying boy then end up with a girl

Cool! Have you had a scan to confirm that it’s a girl too?

I didn’t in the end as I knew whatever it said I still wouldn’t be sure. Did a private scan at 16 weeks instead. Just had to wait it out! Was worth the wait though.
