38+6 loss of appetite & nauseous

I’m 38+6 with my 2nd child(1st was 10 years ago) & the last few days I’ve had waves of nausea on & off & lost my appetite a bit. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a pre labour thing? I have such a big appetite I’ll have cereal, something cooked & a tea or coffee for breakfast when I get up, lunch then dinner & desert or tea/coffee with some biscuits(all decaf) & yesterday I only had my breakfast & didn’t want my dinner. Today I had cereal, didn’t want lunch & forced myself to make something not long ago as my stomach was rumbling. I have been dealing with insomnia the past month or so, my eyes are heavy a lot of the time but my body wants to run marathons I’m so agitated & irritable. I wondered if the tiredness catching up with me is a cause for the loss of appetite I know I can’t be bothered eating when I’m tired but not sure about the nausea. I’ve had a few cramps/Braxton hicks today. Does anyone think it’s just labour approaching or should I speak to someone?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Phone if you're at all concerned

Could it be the heat impacting it? A lot of people go off food or don’t eat as much when it’s warm. But worth giving your midwife a call if you’re worried!

Maybe but I’m normally just as hungry in the heat but have cold foods or pasta rather than cooked meals. I wasn’t worried really but wondered if I should be. I was just reading loss of appetite before labour can be your body clearing out the digestive system preparing for labour & may experience loose stools also in preparation.
