Prednisolone - missed dose

I’m currently 5w5d following a successful FET. I am on 20mg of prednisolone & take it every morning at about 7am. I just realised I forgot to take it so took it at 9pm…

I’m now worried that when I take it in the morning, the doses will be too close & too high?? Clinic isn’t open until Monday. Has anyone been in this position before? Any advice welcome please!

Won't be too close but you might not sleep tonight. Steroids keep you awake, you take them in the morning for a reason.

Won’t do any harm at all except as the previous poster says you might be buzzing a bit. You can’t overdose on steroids in the short term. (I have Addisons disease, asthma and lupus and rely on steroids to survive).

Ok thanks so much for the replies. Raging I forgot it - busy day & just totally slipped my mind. I was shattered & about to roll into bed & then saw the pill box was full. Took them, spent the last while panicking & am now buzzing so I won't be sleeping for a while

I use a phone app called Take Your Pills - I have to take many spaced at intervals during the day. I'd forget them without the regular reminders from my phone!
